FANTASTIC RETRO TOASTER February 22, 2008 Mrs. G. Emptage (Yorkshire) 15 out of 15 found this review helpful
This is by far the best (but to be fair the dearest !) toaster we have used. It looks great, fitting in well with our 'retro' themed kitchen, although it would equally blend in well with any style, be it modern or traditional. The toast comes out perfectly toasted all round with none of the usual burnt hot spots that used to occur with our previous toasters. Only time will tell how reliable this is but so far I have been very impressed as i usually have with Morphy Richards products

I'm really pleased with our new toaster, it seems well put together, and the adjusters go round with reassuring clicks, and stay where they're put! (unlike our previous tefal avanti which was cheap and nasty) .Looks good in our new modern kitchen and may well be tempted to buy the matching quiet kettle.
Toaster Heaven! July 4, 2008 B. Seed (UK) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Fab, fab, fab! Toasts evenly, looks gorgeous, good and solid. Controls are easy to use, and there isn't a terrifying clunk or twang when your perfectly toasted slice pops up. Very glad I found this one - and it's NOT that expensive: my son spotted a Kitchen Aid one for about 150.00! This one's a bargain.
Wow! Why spend a fortune on a designer brand toaster? June 11, 2008 fimac (UK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a fab toaster at a really bargain price. Perfect toast every time with great functionality. It looks fantastic too and has a real sense of quality about it. Don't waste your hard earned money on anything else if you love your toast.
Looks wonderful, but disappointing in use August 16, 2008 Paula (Suffolk) (UK) This toaster has a very appealing look, with the prettiest of knobs and dials. We chose Morphy Richards because they have been making them for so long, they MUST know what they are doing... It's good that you can use either pair of slots and each has its own setting dial. However, although it has extra-wide slots, unfortunately they are not extra-deep, nor extra-long, and a slice of my homemade (breadmaker - not that clever!) bread doesn't fit either way. Also it seems to take longer to toast that my previous toaster, and so the toast is dryer than I like. It toast reasonably evenly, though. and the timing knob is proportioned correctly, i.e. for light brown toast, set the dial to 4/10.
