The base for the toaster is approx 40cms x 16cms. The overall height of the toaster is approx 20cms. The toaster has a single slot, of dimensions 25cms x 4cms x 14cms.

Morphy Richards Food Fusion 2 Slice Toaster 44234 Stainless Steel Yes of course it toasts but apart from that it is a poor piece of kitchen equipment. Toasting in line to achieve a slim configuration was what sold it to me, however, the reality is disappointing. It looks a bit flashy but one can live with that, my main irritation is the length of the lead, barely 30 inches. The lead emerges from the rear of the toaster and close to one end so that avoiding placing it underneath a cupboard means running the lead directly across a work surface and unable to run around the tiling. Secondary complaints are: - it is 'tinny'; - the 'bread carriage lever' does not have a positive action and sometimes needs a couple of operations before it will stay depressed. This toaster is not as substantial as the one it replaced and it will be appearing on my local Freecycle once I have had a chance to physically examine some toasters in John Lewis to identify a decent one.
