BRILLIANT March 22, 2008 Mr. A. Seaward 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
What a sad lot of previous reviews. This is a wonderful toaster which produces toast however you want it, dark brown or pale, deals well with frozen bread and reheats cold toast without burning. It is easily cleaned and has a safety grip for the power cable.
Not disappointed March 9, 2008 Laird Pb Humphreys 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
To be fair, this toaster is a little gem. I have had no problems with it "not browning" the toast and have not experienced "dry toast" yet. Other reviews mentioned not good for the big sliced bread. You cannot have it all, if this is a problem, try making your own bread. I like the dual settings, I can have mine a well done brown whereas my wife likes hers just brown so top marks here. Again, its down to personal preferrence, we're happy with it and thats all that matters...
Pathetic September 29, 2007 TENSE 24 out of 24 found this review helpful
This toaster looks good, but that says it all. If you like toast to be like toast dont buy this. No matter what its setting it takes forever to complete its function. What you end up with is slices of bread that are bone dry and tasteless as well as unevenly done. Its obviously poorly designed with the elements set too far away from the bread.,,,MASS PRODUCED RUBBISH.
Dry & Very Tight February 22, 2008 Big Al 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Takes far to long to brown the bread with the result that the toast is always far too dry. Also, will not handle the size of the larger main brand sliced loaves, having to squeeze or trim them. Very disappointing overall.
