Have just got the kettle today it looks absolutely great lights blue until you flick to boil then changes to red and as soon as boiled goes back to blue

had big problem with water leaking out of plastic window,dripping onto base,really dangerous,also we live in soft water area,but the steel spout is damaged with white powder deposits.not impressed with this at all.

Bought this kettle and within 4 months water was leaking out of the plastic panel. I thought that this was just a one off so exchanged it for the same again but low and behold this was also leaking from day 1 but this time from the bottom. Needless to say I never got another one which is a real shame as I loved the look of it and I have the matching toaster!
