This kettle is a bargain, it performs much better than our previous expensive red kettle. It is a far better pourer, it is much quieter, its holds more water and the water display is very easy to see. Don't be put off by the price we have been very pleased with it.

Item arrived well packaged within 3 days. Looks great,boils quietly and quickly.
Does not look 'cheap' - excellent value for money.

Good kettle with consealed element making it easier to descale. bright red true to colour on diagram. boils quickly and pours well.
If there has to be a slight down side if you put it next to a kettle costing a lot more money you would not be confused picking out the cheaper model if you get my drift, but hey it is worth every penny and what a good price it is.

Previous review considers that it doesn't look cheap. I beg to differ! Functions OK, but the lid lift mechanism is situated at the top of the handle, so when you pick it up to fill or pour... ker-ping! the lid flies open. However, It's very light to lift, and I do like the huge water view window. Overall though, I would look for a different make next time.
