Fast boil. Clear on switch with blue neon indicator. Level fill panel indicator is clear from both sides.
Easy to fill from a water filter jug as the lid comes off entirely and is simple to lock on.
Small footprint on worktops and base is very slim. Spare cord length is held securely in base.
Very much like the spout cover and release button under the handle grip - this cuts out steam escaping into the room - and would make it ideal for open plan Kitchens, Studios or even the Bedroom.
Looks smart in any environment and the black finish will keep its looks.
Positive handle grip and spout cover would make it a good candidate as a kettle for people with impared mobility. I'm not an expert in this field so it would need checking out, but seems worthy of a trial.
Hope it keeps performing for a very long time!

Despite some other reviewer's experiences we have had this kettle for a year now and recommend it. It boils very quickly and there have been no problems with the on/off switch or the trigger spout. In fact 3 of our friends have now also got this kettle on our recommendation and have had no complaints.

We have owned this over 1 year. Have arthritis problems with grasp and grip have found this a perfect product. No faults, no complaints, perfect design, good pour, not heavy, rapid boil, good looks - perfect. Toaster compliments and is also perfect in every way!

Have experienced no problems at all with this kettle. On/off works fine (only difficulty is when it has just boiled and you want to boil it again. Thermostat doesn't like this but then this function is common to most kettles - to do with safety!) I also enjoy watching people use it who don't realise about the lock mechanism. It's a kettle, it boils water and it looks good.

I've been using this kettle for 8 months now and I have never had a problem with it. Looks great, boils very fast, and i've never noticed the not boiling again straight away after finishing a boil. Also never had a problem with the on/off switch.
I work from home and drink A LOT of tea, and I really like this kettle.
Also goes very well with the matching toaster (which is also v good, just wish they did a 4 slice), and the XP4020 espresso machine (also good).
