This full size blender is the perfect kitchen accessory. It's powerful 500W motor also has variable speed so you really do have control when preparing food or dressings. The 1.5Ltr goblet has an easy pours spout, and a safety interlock to protect those prying children fingers. It's removable base makes cleaning easy so you won't have to worry about using it all the time. Other useful features include a lid cap with allows you to pour in oil while blending. There is also a Mill attachment included for a less fine chopping, and a sprinkler lid for decoration. This really is a compact, useful and versatile kitchen accessory. I didn't want to spend a huge amount of money on a blender because I wasn't sure if I was just going through another fad. I once had a juicer and it was awful - never got a drop of juice out of it; it was impossible to clean and you needed a vast amount of friut for it to work. Instead of spending a lot of money on one of the more exensive blenders I bought this one. I couldn't be more pleased. It's beautifully made and easy to clean. I make the children smoothies for breakfast with natural yoghurt and fruit and they are delicious. You can put friut in with very little chopping, which is essential to me as I don't want to spend hours in the morning preparing fruit. I drop whole bananas in, yoghurt, fruit juice of some sort for liquid, whole kiwi fruit or huge chunks of melon - even an apple quartered. In about 5 seconds you have soft, frothy smoothies. It's absolutely brilliant. The kids enjoy making them with me and experimenting with different flavours.
I substitute a smoothie instead of cake or toast for tea. We're all loosing weight and feeling much more healthy. It's the first time we, as a family of four, have been able to eat the recommended amount of fruit.
The small attachment is great for chopping onions or nuts, although I haven't used it all the often.
I wouldn't risk this Kenwood in the dishwasher, as I don't think the plastic would stand it. It is very easy to clean though by hand.
I thoroughly recommend this blender and wouldn't be without mine now.

This blender is fantastic for blending smoothies, and really easy to clean. I make smoothies with it everyday, just chop up all the fruit to bitesize chunks so it blends easily - sometimes you have to press stop, and then move the stuff around inside so that it sucks it down properly. Just clean by taking apart and rinsing with hot water... easy! And what a fantastic price... nothing better :)

I make Smoothies everyday, as I am really into Juicing, and this Blender really does the Job well! Icecrushing is also no problem, and also great to make Soups!
Not tried the little Mill attachment, yet, so, can't comment on it!
It's very good value for money!

Lovely design, very robust, basic blender and good value for money. Easy to clean and not too many of those irritating small plastic pieces that are designed to chip or break rendering the machine useless.
This blender has a 500W rating.

This is about the best blender I have ever had. It is so well made and does the job really well. To get the little mill with it too is really good and makes it great value for money. I have tried much dearer ones that are nowhere nearly as good as this one.
