Chop up the fruit, throw it in, ice first, solid fruit second, soft stuff to the top, pulse first use the stick to push it down, then work up to top speed............... let it run for a while (no lumps & frothy smooth)Good Machine works, well easy to clean, pulse the machine when using the tap this pushes out the mixture...............enjoy !!!!!!! we are eating ten times the fruit than before and not yet fed up................

was looking for a smoothie maker but didn't want to spend much in case it ended up little used in a cupboard. i have to say at 13.24 this is an absolute steal. i've had great fun making different smoothies. best bet is to experiment and cut things up small and don't forget to include some liquid e.g water, juice or milk for best results. i've just been experimenting as i don't like banana and most shop bought products/recipes include it as an ingredient...but i'm pleased to say results have been good. blueberry, strawberry, kiwi, yoghurt, milk and honey is my favourite so far. my advice - definitely buy this and have fun trying it out..and if you get bored its less than (..)in the cupboard not (...)!!!

I got this because I wanted to eat more veges and fruits with all the work schedule. So its very easy snack in the evening (carrots, beetroot, grapes, strawberry, mint) or in the morning as a proper smoothie. Its really powerful, easy to clean and a snutty tap, which I dont use and pour out the old-fashioned way. Its a good product worth the money. Go and buy it! Live healthy!

Wonderful, just arrived yesterday tried it to make a banana smoothie and it was just so so easy to use.

Quite a big machine, so was really suprised, I think I was expecting something smaller, so you could easily make up a family of four size smoothie. (Or less, but having the capability to make more is really useful especially in summer months, as the chilled cucumber, advocado and mint cooler sounds delicious). Also slush puppies for everyone out there that enjoys them.

Ideal if feeling a little under the weather health wise (not up to eating) as a nice smoothie has a lot of nourishment and is pleasant to drink, wonderful for getting kiddies to eat fruit without them really realising it.

Cann't wait to try out other smoothie ideas. It does also come with a recipe book, so no having to buy another (saves money).

Only down side is the fact that it says it is not dishwasher proof, a shame really as it really would be a quick and easy breakfast for someone on the go, use, drink then put into dishwasher, but apart from that great.

It is easy to clean by hand though so no real hardship.

I bought mine at less than half price on Amazon, for roughly [...], so am really impressed, not a lot of times can you say that you have bought a bargain and it really turn out to be one, but certainly has. On using it I would have paid the full price though as it does deliver what it says it should.

My first blender! I thought it was a good way to start 2007.. eating healthy!
I've made loads of smoothies and have found it extremely easy to use.
It handles hot liquids well too.. I've even made soup with it.. its great!

The only down side to all cooking is... the cleaning up!
I found it quite hard to twist it to get the (blade) parts apart to clean.
