After getting this for Christmas I was pleasantly surprised. The device is a good weight so it doesn't move around when in use, it is powerful and smooth. Most of all it is easy to use and simple to clean (which always helps). I have already started to experiment with making my own smoothies, some more successful than others, but it's always great fun. Would highly recommend...and it lights up too!!

I think this is a great smoothie maker. People have stated that it's blades are not capable of blending solids. That's not my experience. This machine can easily disintegrate ice, nuts and chocolate. I had no problems in terms of solids but I used it to make smoothies, which was sort of the point of the product! Perhaps if people are trying to blend large foodstuffs it can be difficult. The tap is really useful and the whole jug is very easy to clean. The only difficulty I had was storing the jug in the fridge as the tap cannot detach, leading it to take up quite a bit of space.

I bought this smoothie maker for my daughter, who is away at university. She not only finds it great for making smoothies with soft fruits, but it also tackles all vegetables, both hard and soft, to make wonderful soups. Easy to use and easy to clean.
We have had one similar this for many years and it is great, and this one for my daughter, seems just as good - i recommend it if you need something simple to use to get great results.

I DIDN'T WANT TO SPEND A FORTUNE ON A SMOOTHIE MAKER. THIS WAS GOOD VALUE AND I HAVEN'T HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH IT. ICE AND HARDER OBJECTS ARE BELNDED EASILY. SIMPLE AND QUICK TO CLEAN. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT

What a neat machine this smoothie is, I am delighted with it's performance & look forward to some fruitee tooties in the summer & smooth soups in the winter. You can mix any ingredient you like as long as you get the taste you are looking for.
