Excellent choice December 18, 2006 L. C. Storey (England West Yorkshire) 42 out of 43 found this review helpful
I have been looking at the different deep fat fryers for some time now. I wanted one that would cater for the larger family and would look like it belonged in my kitchen. Well this product is everything i could have asked for. It looks very smart on the worktop. All food cooked has been to a high standard with a nice crisp finish. It is easy to use and easy to clean. Money wise, all I can say is, it was money well spent.
Excellent chips ....by Northern chip expert. August 19, 2007 'The No Fun' guy (Hockley,Essex,UK) 22 out of 23 found this review helpful
I'd been reticent to buy a deep fat fryer having used a chip pan for over thirty years. When I had a new kitchen installed I opted for gas hobs rather than electric .I prefer gas hobs for cooking but retired my chip pan as I felt rather nervous about using it with gas rather than the electric hobs I'd used previously. I've heard bad reports of deep fat fryers but on the other hand making good chips is a skill which involves more than chucking some spuds into fat! You need the right fat or oil, the right cooking temperature and the right type of potato ( and don't add too many chips at once )and its surprising how many idiots out there don't know this. When I got the fryer I loaded it with vegetable oil from Waitrose ,heated it to 160 degrees and cooked the chips for 4 minutes. Then I removed the chips when the inclusive electronic timer went off and put the temperature up to 180 degrees.I then cooked the chips for 3 more minutes. The result with King Edward potatoes was excellent. I expect I'll experiment a little more but I give it full marks. The fryer has no cool wall but I didn't find that it got too hot on the outside but do treat it sensibly.
Excellent appliance would highly recommend January 24, 2007 shirley (Bartlett, IL USA) 24 out of 28 found this review helpful
I received my deep fryer for a housewarming gift, I can't begin to say I much I love it. If someone is looking for this I would highly recommend it I get compliments on my food that is cooked in there all the time especially my fish fillets...

A very good fryer August 8, 2008 Mrs. C. Simpson (Orkney) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is the best of the 3 fryers that I have owned. Excellent cooking results and very easy to clean inside and out.
