It makes excellent chips but is beginning to look rather bedraggled. So I decided to purchase this fryer. I followed the directions to the letter but the chips came out very soggy, sort of steamed, and did not taste good. I have returned this item to ebay. It does not even merit one star in my opinion. I shall carry on with my old machine.
