Excellent quality pan set from Le Creuset. We bought the Granite as it appears to be the new colour on the market to go wth the old orange and blue. The pans are excellently made and of course very heavy, so not for you if you have weak wrists. THe handles are composition plastic but did not get hot when used as a pan we have with a wooden handle does. There was a sharp seam down the handle where the 2 sides had been joined together, but this was removed with a sharp knife and this was our only complaint. Dishwasher proof aswell. Expensive for pans but quality costs..

These pans were a fantastic buy. Not only were they a great price but they are brillant to cook with. They keep warm even after you turn off the heat which is great to ensure that the food is warm when serving everything up. I wash them in the dishwasher just about everyday and they have come up a treat - no colour fading as mentioned in the guarantee. Be warned they are heavy and I wouldn't recommend them if you have weak wrists. So good I have now brought the casserole dish and saucepan - Worth every penny!!

A new side assist handle (don't forget your Le Creuset Double Oven Glove!) provides for easier lifting, and a longer, dishwasher safe phenolic (heat resistant to 200 C) handle ensures perfect balance.
Each pan has deeper side walls providing extra capacity and the lid has an effective steam venting hole.
