Excellent pan November 29, 2003 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
What a revelation! After using a very old "non-stick" pan to which everything stuck this pan has been pure joy to use. No more bits of food chiselled off, no more sauces with burnt blobs floating around. How did I manage without it!
Non Stick Heaven! November 22, 2007 K. Lymer (Cheshire, UK) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I've tried lots of 'non-stick' pans only to have to use brillo pads and lots of elbow grease! This pan is a joy to use, food slides right off! It's also deep enough to make large portions without having half your dinner fall out on the cooker when stirring. Just about to order one for my Mum after she was amazed at it's non-stick powers.
failure of the pan nearly 2 years later June 3, 2008 D. HATCH (UK) 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
I appreciate others may have made favourable reviews but sadly my experience is not. For the first year it worked well, I followed all the instructions but slowly it started to stick in patches. Then after 18 months I noticed some of the liner flaking away. The pan deteriorated rapidly and I returned it to Meyer UK on the Wirral thinking that the lifetime guarantee would allow for a replacement. It was returned 2 days later in the post, dented by delivery possibly, and informed that the pan had been subjected to high heat and that oil had burnt onto the surface so they were not liable to replace it. I cook on a gas hob and did not use abrasives or metal utensils. It is an expensive pan to have to replace. I will not buy from them again.
