Was a bit apprehensive after reading some of the reviews when other purchasers said their bowls had arrived broken. No need to worry they all arrived in one piece. However, the packaging could have been a lot better and it's more by luck than judgement that they weren't broken. Very flimsy packaging for such heavy glass bowls. Note to suppliers, Could do a lot better!

Great set of bowls, at a great price, deivered promptly. Made by a Pyrex factory in England which closed in 2007, but that's OK, as they made them out of borosilicate glass, which is the safe, original Pyrex, unlike the soda-lime tempered glass pieces which are now sold in the States and which some people found were expoloding...The minor fault in the title is the fact that the Pyrex stamp is stamped on the INSIDE and not on the outside as it should be (at least as was the case with all the Pyrex pieces I have seen to date). This is only a problem from the cleaning perspective, and only if you were cooking something that is sticky or gets baked on into those tiny grooves...Not a problem for me as they are used as food storage containers for the fridge or for food preparation, although they are also suitable for use in the oven. Overall, a super buy, highly recommend.

this set of bowlS WaS dlivered to me with one bowl broken , (amAzon delivered a fresh set of bowls the following morning before i had eVEN GOT THE BROKE SET PACKAGED UP)the best firm on the internet for all your needs.i shall be doing a lot more buying from amazon also the pyrex bowls were just what i wanted gooD work amazon. j.wilson
