Have used for a few days now much easier to use than a steel my new knives from richardsons, are very sharp after using this, only neeed to put thru roughly 20 times and knifes are sharp( this only takes 30 seconds ) All in all Brillant

I was going to buy an expensive electric sharpener but decided against it. I'm glad I did as this simple to use piece of kit has turned my blunt blades into a very effective set of kitchen knives again. If you want something cheap, effective and easy to hide in a drawer...this is the item for you!
OKSeptember 26, 2008 evicka(UK) This sharpener is OK, but only if you have fairly sharp knife to start with. I had completely blunt knives and it wasn't able to restore a new edge on the knives. I would still recommend getting an electric knife sharpener by the same company. I have bought 4 different manual sharpeners over time and ended up buying the electric one anyway. So I wasted more money than I initially planned.
