Excellent product July 14, 2010 Fred Flintstone This is our second electric potato peeler and we are very pleased with it. It is far better than the last one we had, being quieter and more efficient generally. Can't remember the last make as we didn't buy it through Amazazon but anyway we can certainly recommend this product.
Removes the effort September 1, 2010 B. Capon (West Midlands UK) I purchased this to replace a very old peeler that was powered only by cold water pressure.
The new peeler arrived very quickly, and performs its functions quite well. It's quick, and it's easy to clean after use.
Care needs to be taken to ensure you don't overfill the unit with water, as this can then find its way out of the unit and down into the motor section.
My only complaint is the poorly written instructions, which as far as I can tell do not explain the precise use of the white basket component.
I assume it may be for peeling "new potatos" where the skins are not as tough?
All in all quite satisfied with the unit.
Electric Potato Peeler August 16, 2010 T. Alan Smith (Solihull,, West Midlands, United Kingdom) This product seems fine at present.
How long it remains in working order will determine its ultimate worth.

Received on time and as expected. This product is the same as displayed on the Clifford James site, but cheaper. I suppose that this is because it has no branding logo on the side. It is suitable for small quantities of potatoes and this should be remembered, as it is not a commercial peeler. This one has an 85 watt motor, whereas others I have seen are only 65 watts. This is good.
Auto Potato Peeler August 3, 2010 A. E. Fortt (Melksham, England) Down side: (1)Noisy, (2)Not designed to have a lid gasket so leaks during operation.
Up side: (1)Works well, especially with small new potatoes, (2)Works quickly so great time saver.
