most useful kitchen item June 1, 2008 monty oliver (G B) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
this is simply the most useful kitchen gadget i have bought in years. it is small, so does not take up space and because it is small i keep it out all the time and consequecely use it. it is good for chopping small quantities and making smoothies without the hassle of washing up the whole item. i know this sounds very qourny but if you are in the market for a small multi purpose chopper, buy this one it is brilliant.
Brilliant for baby food! July 21, 2008 H. Vincent 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought this primarily to make small quantities of baby food, and it's marvellous! - Ingenious design: instead of putting food into the bottom of the mixer, you choose one of the containers (and there are lots to choose from!), screw the blade unit on to the TOP of the container, then turn the whole lot upside down so that the food falls onto the blades. This works really well - even for small quantities, which larger blenders often struggle with. - Even better still - once you have blended your food, you can then remove the blades and actually keep the food in the container with one of the lids screwed on the top! Genius! - It's also really easy to clean, and is apparently dishwasher safe although we don't have a dishwasher to try this. - Nice and compact too - the base is about the size of a large mug. We are even planning to take ours on holiday with us this year! - There is also a more conventional jug for larger jobs, and loads of other bits which I will probably never use, such as a juicer and a flat blade for grinding coffee. Also came with a handy recipe/ideas book. All in all, twenty quid very well spent, and although the description didn't say what make this was, the one I received was the "As seen on TV" Magic Bullet. Highly recommended.
