The canteen is well made and the cutlery items fit well in their holders, the cutlery is well balanced and sits well in the hands. The pieces feel quite heavy and when in use feel very stable in the grip of your hand. The pieces are well made and have a very comfortable finish, not too sharp and not too smooth. Overall the presentation and quality of the cutlery is first class and would be a welcome addition to any household.

Got these as a wedding present, I don't like cutlery that is flimsy, feels like it would turn or twist in your hand or is to small. I love this stuff, solid, keeps its appearance, looks good. if you want elegant cutlery buy this it is excellent.

I'm very pleased with the quality of the cutlery in this set - really well made and they feel good in your hand. The price on Amazon is excellent - the RRP for this on the Viners site is 195. It's also hard to argue with a 50 year guarantee!
My only slight concern is the canteen - well made and strong box, but the lining and cutlery holders are flock/felt covered plastic that feels a little flimsy and I can't see it being that durable. I'd have preferred a much more robust interior.
