Had to replace our old Hotpoint washing machine, which we had for atleast 6 years without any major fault other than leaked and was very noisy. With our new Bosch it's so much quieter. This machine has the lot; large 8kg capacity drum, spin speeds upto 1600 rpm and lots of programs to cater for any type of washing requirements. Including a super fast 15 min wash and also timed wash, which allows you to set the wash to start after midnight. So if your on economy 7 it's cheaper. My only complaint is the Operating Instructions. Could have been formatted better and produced in a booklet form rather than an open leaflet with cluttered information. However, this is a top machine and obviously built to last, comes with 2 years warranty. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quality machine.

When I first considered buying a top end machine with 10 year guarantee, I realised that technology would have long moved on by the time it needed replacing, so to this end there was no purpose to spending 800+ on a new machine. This Bosch with it's 2 year guarantee has not disappointed and I've had it over a year now. I don't need to rave about it; it simply does everything I need in such an easy and uncomplicated manner. It's quiet and so can be timed to operate when people are asleep without making disturbing noises reminiscent of an earthquake!
All in all, my perfect machine. And that's not bad coming from a man - who uses it as much as my wife does!!
Highly recommended, and deserves only 5 stars.

The operating instruction booklet is a disappointment, they could have done better for a machine worth more than 450 . Dont know yet the performance of this machine.
