ive had this for an few months now and never had a problem with it. had to change my pots and pans but was going to do that anyway. really fast to boil water, had a race with my 3kw kettle for a litre of water and there was very little difference. food stops heating as soon as you switch it off or lift the pan off the hob.sometimes its to fast you cant leave food cooking even on minimum, wouldnt risk slow cooking with it if i wasnt in the house.
