5 out of 5 stars Review of "Fresh Bread in the Morning"   December 14, 2003

If like me, you have spent a number of years using the recipes supplied with your bread making machine, then you should really get a copy of this book. The difference is quite staggering.

By using quality ingredients and avoiding the unnecessary use of such additions as dried milk powder, the improvement is truly dramatic. You will discover bread as it should taste, but which sadly is increasingly difficult to find commercially. The layout is clear and easy to use, and all the hard work has been done for you.

If you have a bread making machine, you really should keep a copy of this book in your kitchen.

For the price this book is great value for money.
The recipies are varied and so easy to make.
I was so surprised at how easy it was to make pitta bread by making the dough in the machine then oven cooking.
This book will give you some good ideas for breads and some you can adapt for your own tastes.

I have made several breads since recently buying this book, in a Panasonic SD253 breadmaker. They have all turned out well and taste great. I particularly like the use of natural ingredients and this book is helping me cater for a dairy-free diet.Definately worth purchasing!

I've been using this book for well over a year now with consistently good results. Her premise of removing the supefluous ingredients works for me and I've now started to do some variations of my own based on her recipes.

My daughter and I baked Stollen this Christmas from the recipe in this book and it is great.

While this little book may not have all the glossy pictures of some of the other bread-making recipe books, it is packed with a wonderful collection of recipes. It has inspired me to try some really interesting and diverse breads (like the tasty "Sage and onion loaf") and they've all worked exceptionally well.
