 Difficulty opening plastic food containers? February 9, 2005

I've bought some of these containers for my Mother (76) she has osteoarthritis and she can open these really easily. My Sister, who has rheumatoid arthritis and needs wrist splints, finds that she can open these containers with just the outward motion of her thumbs. I would recommend these containers to anybody who has difficulty manipulating conventional plastic storage lids.

A variety of sizes of storage box that are suitable for all sorts of purposes. Air tight, dishwasher-safe (top shelf only!), and sturdy enough to take my bashing, very useful indeed. Only downside is that they can be fiddly to wash by hand and the clips that make them air tight can be a little awkward if you're trying to close the box with one hand.
