Absolutely superb item . It has a powerful 1000w motor thats is very quiet when running on full and stays in place due to great little suction pads on base. It is extremely easy to use and dismantle for cleaning. The blender is very stylish but also very solid / robust it blends effortlessly through all vegetables and fruit. This product is far far superior to the others on offer at argos having had a kenwood one that was not built to last and forever jamming ! Even the blades can be removed form the glass jug for cleaning! Just fab design and power a snip at the price.

I have purchased this blender before xmas after reading reviews on amazon.
I must say it has become the most important kitchen appliance in my house! I have been using it every day for smoothies, coctails and soups. It does its job perfectly- crushes ice and deal with bigger pieces of fruits/vegs, plus- it's easy to clean.
The other good thing about Marco Pierre blender is its looks- very stylish and smart.
I would buy it again!

This is the Rolls Royce of blenders. It is powerful and sturdy and the parts are easy to remove and clean. I haven't had it long so cannot comment on how long lasting it is but so far it has excelled itself, my soups and smoothies have never been smoother! Makes beautiful crushed ice too.

Absolutely obliterates ice. Fantastic for smoothies and looks cool. If you can't affort a Hamilton Beach or a KitchenAid blender then get this one. 1000W motor, glass jug, perfect.

UPDATE: I was cleaning it with hot water and when I put some cold water in it, the jug just smashed into 10 pieces. The jug is very thick (about 1cm) so should not smash through thermal shock.
I bought this at the beginning of the year and it has worked extremely well. The glass jug is superior to others and the motor seems very strong. Don't consider a less powerful blender if you plan to crush a lot of ice in one go. I have even dropped the base once or twice with no damage (even though it is quite heavy). It is also very simple to clean since the blade comes out easily from underneath. I usually just put a drop of washing up liquid in it with hot water after use and switch it on for a few seconds and rinse it out.
The only negative I can think of is that the power dial seems a bit light and lacks feedback as it's being turned. You should also be careful to hold the lid if you go straight to max power (using the ice breaking setting or power button) instead of turning the dial smoothly to the maximum, since everything will explode upwards due to the power.
