This is a very modern and sturdy cutlery set, not too heavy but feels robust. It is a great size for toddlers.
The images appear to be a form of enamel and have not chipped through many uses.
I would recommend for either your own child or as a gift.

This set is a really lovely set, quite heavy and chunky, but the weight seems to be perfect for my son. He has been happily using it (minus the knife) since he was 12 months old. The only reason I took a star off is that the colours on the smiley faces have started to come off in the wash - just hand washed in hot soapy water, but daily use for 5 months. (Each piece of colour comes off as a complete section, as opposed to it wearing away.) It's a small quibble, and is not stopping me from buying a second set as a spare.
