5 out of 5 stars A bit chunky but very effective....   September 30, 2007

When I first used this knife it felt a little chunky in my hand. My previos one was a Moulinex but it was without the 'double switch' safety system now required - and a lot easier to hold and operate.

But after a couple of days use, I am now sure this was the best choice. It cuts even very fresh bread with relatively little downward pressure - something which occasionally causes the whole loaf to get squashed flat!! I tried it to carve the meat today, still with good results, so it was time to write a review....

A recommended electric knife to which I am happy to give 5 stars.

5 out of 5 stars Well designed and easy to use   June 22, 2008

I bought this model because of its design which has no weak points. Having had two other electric carving knives which broke at a weak point in their design I was pleased to see this one when it became available.
Little downward pressure is needed, it feels comfortable in the hand and seems to be tough enough to last a long while.
I have no hesitation in awarding 5 stars.
