Handle came off March 26, 2008

After approximately 3 to 4 weeks of use, the handle came off the jug as I took it off the stove. Hot coffee poured down my front (fortunately I was in my dressing gown, so I was able get it off quickly). The falling pot then caught the edge of the stove and the jolt caused a whirling spray of hot coffee all round the kitchen. If we had been a household with small children, I hate to think what might have happened.
