I bought this for storing sushi knives in. A really handy item, well made and solid, no likelihood of the knives getting out or cutting through the solid leather even when they are super sharp. Great if you want to be able to put knives away and not in a block. Keeps them safe in a drawer and out of the way of hands !

This is a really sturdy roll, but the netting that holds the knives in place is a bit of a nuisance. If you have very pointed blades, then they are inclined to stick through, which is not terribly safe. Something more solid - say canvas - would be better, stitched into more pockets.
There's not really space for small knives, either. My paring knives and other small thing all have to go in one pocket together, which rather defeats the object!
