After deliberating about the merits of the Kenwood against the fancy dan Artisan (undoubtedly goodlooking but not as fast)I finally placed a order for the Titanium.
This item lives up to all my expectations in that it can handle a double mix of Nigellas Scones (no mean feat that). Currently I've just given it a double mix of Be Ro Banana bread to have a go at and it more or less growled and said Gimme more of a challenge you wimp! What about that a machine that talks back and does what it says on the tin.
Haven't tried all the other attachment but once I have I shall update you: surely you'll all be gagging to know how my new electrical friend handles other tasks. Yes maybe I should get out more and I can't believe that I can be excited about a kitchen gadget for heavens sake but there you go; I'm getting older and blagging my way into clubs has lost its' appeal. However I do wear a frilly neon pink apron does that count for hip?

This will make the third Kenwood I have owned in 30 odd years and it is defiantly the best one yet. The Motor is very powerful and a little bit quieter than the old Chefs' I have had. Am loving the new medium speed outlet, great for use with the citrus juicer and the small food processor. Also the beaters and dough hook are solid stainless, so will go in the dishwasher.
Over all a great revamp of a classic and well worth the money, much better than the American competition! Go, Buy!!!

This is a very well made piece of kitchen equipment. Everything about it is quality. It is quite heavy but what else would you expect? Recommended.

Good Machine for the preparation and processing food. Very impressive, handy and efficient for anybody who has interest in cooking food. All the attachments provided with it are O.K. except the blender which I found is very heavy as it is made of glass. It becomes difficult to separate the glass part from the base i.e.the blade part, once it is attached to it. Some times I found it difficult to blend and crush small bits of food items which get stuck at the bottom of the blender. Whisking two to three eggs is O.K.but it can't whisk just one egg. Shreder and slicer is very good.
